2013 Chevrolet Cars Sedan Sport Malibu
General Motors (GM) finally decided to release two new variant of Chevrolet Sedan Sport Cars Malibu 2013 at two prestigious exhibition of the Shanghai Auto Show 2011 and the New York Auto Show 2011. One of the firm‚ most important models in years. As in the eAssisted LaCrosse and Regal, the Malibu Eco pairs a 2.4-liter four-cyliner engine with a six-speed automatic transmission, fitting a motor-generator where the alternator would live. The system can provide up to a 15-hp boost using energy stored in the lithium-ion battery, which gets its charge from regenerative braking. The system is enhanced by other miserly tech pieces like a stop/start system, low-rolling-resistance tires, underbody trays, and active aero flaps in the grille that open or close at speed to meter the flow of cooling air and further aid economy. We’ve recently driven the LaCrosse eAssist and came away impressed by its relative seemlessnes. The verdict is still out on real-world economy, but we expect the same level of refinement from the system as installed in Chevrolet’s ever-important Malibu.

MSRP $17,270 One of the giant holes in Ford’s resume has been its near-insurmountable inability to make a great small car. It has made plenty of popular small cars, and the Focus was a very good car, but greatness has eluded them so far. For 2012, though, Ford has overhauled and redesigned the Focus. Have they finally made a great small car?

The 2012 Ford Focus SE has a 2.0 liter, inline 4-cylinder engine that produces 160 horsepower. It has front-wheel drive, a manual 5-speed transmission, and 16-inch steel wheels. The Focus SE is rated at 28 mpg in the city, but a world-class 38 on the highway.The high-mileage segment of the market has been dominated by the turn toward “green” hybrid cars, but Ford is demonstrating with the Focus that it is possible to get up to 40 mpg with a conventional engine. The exterior tweaks, such as a rear spoiler and aerodynamic redesign, combine with a reworked suspension to give the Focus a ride that has been described as “European.” The steering is very responsive, and there is almost no body roll. Somehow, it pulls off the European trick of handling like a sport car without the stiff ride. The engine, though it gets great mileage, still has enough punch to accelerate the Focus nicely. On top of this, the Focus manages to ride quietly.

The Focus SE comes with a tilt-telescope steering wheel, a height-adjustable driver seat, full power accessories, and a trip computer. The audio system has 4 speakers, AM/FM radio, a CD/MP3 player, and an audio jack.
The Focus has anti-lock brakes, stability and traction controls, side front airbags, and side-curtain airbags. It also has the Ford MyKey system, which allows you to place limits on how fast other drivers, such as teenagers, can drive the car and how high they can turn up the stereo. The Ford Sync system with emergency notification is optional.
Conclusions and driver feedback:
The Focus is definitely a different car this year. As good as the mechanical tweaks are, the interior improvement may be even better. The cabin is now made of high-quality, soft materials that make you wonder if Mercedes engineers are “moonlighting” in Detroit. The design is very attractive, too. The seating is almost roomy in the front and adequate in the back. While the Focus won’t win awards for cargo space, there is still enough for a small car.
There are a few negatives, but they are more the result of its size than any flaws. The back seat could use a little more legroom, and some find the controls on the optional Ford Sync and MyTouch screen to be a little confusing at first.Ultimately, though, the positives far outweigh the negatives.The verdict: this might be the best small car on the market.

As a celebration they have created an exhaust package for the Porsche Panamera Turbo.The PS9 package for the German sports saloon ups the ante with numerous aero add-ons and a bevy of performance upgrades. The Sport-Abgas system provides your Panamera with a more raw sound and twenty extra horses.
The Essen Motor Show, which runs from November 28 to December 6 and is best described as Europe’s answer to SEMA, will see Porsche tuning shop, SpeedART, revealing its take on the Panamera.
The kit brings the total output to 520bhp. The sprint of the 4.8 liter twin turbo V8 will probably be hit the 4.0 seconds. Fuji Heavy Industries Ltd. (FHI) unveiled the 2011 Subaru Impreza WRX STI and WRX (U.S. specifications) models at the New York International Auto Show (Press day: March 31 and April 1; Open to the public from April 2 through 11).
Developed under the concept of “The Fastest WRX STI Ever”, the 2011 model has achieved even more advanced driving performance due to a finely tuned suspension. To attain such superior performance, the model underwent repeated testing at the Nurburgring track in Germany as well as in Japan, which served to refine the essential nature of the car as a true driver’s car that offers “total driving control” with a high level of cornering performance, secure and supreme sure handling, and overall vehicle stability.
New 4-Door Sedan
In order to further pursue the performance expected of a road sports model, a 4-door model has been added to the lineup to provide a new Subaru AWD performance sedan.
New Wide-Body WRX 4- and 5-Door
Adopting the same wide body as the WRX STI, the Impreza WRX features wider tread and tire widths which, together with a finely tuned suspension, provide remarkable improvements to stability and road-holding performance when driving at high speeds. The 4-door and 5-door models have been thoroughly upgraded in terms of styling and driving performance for enhanced product appeal.
Main Improvements for the Impreza WRX STI
1. Exterior
• The new 4-door model, along with the 5-door, includes a “wide and low” design concept that is a perfect match for this advanced performance model and gives the impression of dynamic and powerful road presence.
• The corners of the bumpers have been enlarged and the areas around the fog lamps have been blacked out in order to provide a front face shape that expresses a sense of reassuring stability. The newly designed front grill features virile black tones which, together with enlarged grill and bumper openings, serve to project functionality matching the vehicle’s high performance. The adoption of a forward-surging shape for the lip spoiler at the bottom of the bumper further enhances the sportiness. (For both 4-door and 5-door models)
• Like the 5-door model, a blister fender running from the front to the rear, providing a side view with a sense of dynamic movement, has been adopted for the new 4-door model. The rear fender has a strong design that emphasises the wider track of the rear tires and the performance sedan characteristics.
• For the rear view of the 4-door model, the rear fender surface is stretched beyond the outer side of the combination lamps, emphasizing the thickness of the rear end, thereby providing a design that expresses stability. Additionally, the diffuser shape incorporated at the bottom of the rear bumper completely envelops the muffler for a refined, sporty look.
• A striking larger rear spoiler was exclusively designed for the STI 4-door model. The spoiler has a three-dimensional shape in consideration of the aerodynamics of the wing and further serves to symbolise the advanced performance of the WRX STI.
• The twin-dual muffler cutters feature a new design unique to the 4-door model. Stainless steel is used to express both sportiness and high product quality.
• Lightweight 18-inch aluminum wheels have been newly adopted as standard equipment, and these have been given a high luster finish to heighten the sense of luxury. Additionally, the optional BBS 18-inch wheels are provided with a high luster finish. (For both 4-door and 5-door models)
• The new color of “Plasma Blue Silica” has been added. (For both 4-door and 5-door models)
2. Interior (For both 4-door and 5-door models)
• The colors of the instrument panel, door trim and steering decorative parts have been changed to a dark metallic hue. The contrast of this hue with the silver decorative parts produces a sporty cockpit.
• A Bluetooth®* function has been added to the standard audio. Additionally, a switch for Bluetooth hands-free communication has been added to the steering wheel to improve convenience.

• A USB jack has been installed inside the console box in order to provide for use of USB input devices.
3. Mechanisms (For both 4-door and 5-door models)
• The overall suspension setup has been completely revised and the vehicle height lowered by 5 mm in order to provide high-precision handling that allows a driver to accurately power through lines exactly as required.
• A new aluminum lower arm has been designed for the front suspension, while the rear arm bushes have been changed to a pillow-ball type. These work to improve toe and tread rigidity in order to provide handling performance that is even more faithful to the driver’s steering control.
• The specifications of the sub-frame bushings of the rear suspension have been changed to improve the toe and camber rigidity, resulting in increased vehicle responsiveness and road hugging capability.
• Specialised tuning of the damping force of both front and rear dampers provides secure road-holding ability. Changes to specifications of the front and rear coil springs, and stabilizers have greatly improved roll rigidity.

In November 2007, Maybach had revived the aura of the grand carriages of days gone by with its Landaulet study. The European premiere of this sparkling white one-off study is taking place at the 78th Geneva Motor Show. Even beforehand, however, the response from the public to this masterpiece has been overwhelming, so much so that Maybach decided to offer the hand-built Landaulet based exclusively on the customer’s own specifications.
A limited number of vehicles will be built in the Manufaktur workshops in Sindelfingenover a restricted period. The finest materials are painstakingly handcrafted by select specialists to meet the customers’ exacting requirements – just as the discerning Maybach clientele would expect. According to the latest Luxury Brand Status Index (LBSI), a survey of 531 U.S.millionaires recently voted Maybach the most prestigious luxury automobile brand.
The Maybach name epitomises high-end luxury motoring. It stands for effortlessly superior automotive engineering at the very highest level, timeless and stylish elegance, and precision craftsmanship. Since approximately two-thirds of Maybach customers wish to tailor their cars exactly to their own tastes and ideas, Maybach is constantly expanding its exclusive range of customisation options.
In technical terms the Maybach Landaulet is based on the Maybach 62 S - which can claim to be the world's most powerful series-produced chauffeured saloon. Maybach technicians have removed the rear roof module in order to afford passengers an unobstructed view of the sky above. The side walls have been invisibly reinforced with an integral tubular steel structure. As these measures have not altered the silhouette of the luxury saloon, the generously dimensioned doors and the complete interior with reclining seats remain unchanged.
Maybach has adapted the luxurious rear compartment to the requirements of open-top motoring. For instance, the rear head restraints are slightly larger than on the saloon and effectively help reduce wind turbulence.
Designed from the outset as a chauffeur-driven limousine, the Maybach Landaulet is equipped with a partition. The lower section of the partition consists of an aluminium sandwich structure. The upper section comprises an electro-transparent laminated glass panel that can be lowered by electric motor.
The Maybach Landaulet is powered by an uprated V12 engine which Maybach engineers have developed further for the Maybach 57 S and Maybach 62 S together with the specialists at Mercedes-AMG. Thanks to twin turbochargers and water intercooling, the V12 develops a maximum output of 450 kW/612 hp from a displacement of 5980 cubic centimetres. The enhanced exterior styling of the Jaguar XFR moves those sporting credentials on even further, to deliver the ultimate expression of Jaguar's new saloon car design language - carrying a number of visual design cues that are intrinsic to Jaguar's 'R' car philosophy. Its unique front-end design has a larger lower grille with new black-finished mesh, plus chrome outboard air intakes. The upper mesh grille retains XF's bright finish, while the bonnet carries distinctive louvres.
The supercharged 5.0-litre V8 that powers the new XFR is Jaguar's new flagship engine, but it is only half of the petrol engine story - a naturally-aspirated version of the all-new engine brings additional advanced technologies and performance to other models in the XF range.
Power comes from an all-new 5.0-liter direct-injection supercharged V8 engine delivering 510bhp and 461lb-ft of torque. Immediately recognizable thanks to unique new 20-inch wheels, a new front end design with revised chrome air intakes, 'Supercharged' hood louvres, four polished exhaust tailpipes, an aerodynamically functional rear spoiler and side sills, the new XFR also sports discreet ‘R’ badging.

The all-new 5.0-litre AJ-V8 Gen III and the 3.0-litre diesel AJ-V6 D Gen III engines transmit power through an enhanced version of Jaguar's acclaimed ZF 6HP28 electronically controlled, six-speed transmission. Additional clutch plates and an uprated torque converter have been added for the supercharged V8 to facilitate the extra power.

The new XFR features Active Differential Control and Adaptive Dynamics – technologies being introduced for the first time on this and the XKR sports car. The electronically controlled differential and suspension system work together to optimize traction under hard acceleration and cornering – highly appropriate for a car that offers an electronically limited top speed of 155mph and reaches 60mph from standstill in just 4.7 seconds. The XFR also adds a faster steering ratio and uses the XF’s largest ventilated disc brakes – although every version of the XF with the new, more powerful engines features upgraded braking specification.
The attributes that marked out the XF at launch are still very much new and in the public eye. The four-door XF has the visual excitement of a coupe, but room inside for five adults to enjoy an interior wholly contemporary in style yet uniquely Jaguar.Jaguar has developed a unique, intelligent oil-pump pressure relief valve (PRV) which senses oil pressure deep in the engine's oil galleries to control the oil pump delivery. As a result, oil pump frictional losses are reduced during the warm-up period. New engine oil has a lower viscosity, contributing to an extension in service intervals from 10,000 miles to 15,000 miles or 12 months. Both V8 engines are now fitted with an electronic oil level sensor feature for added peace of mind.

Unique with its all-four-cylinder powertrain, the Buick Regal relies on the excellent horsepower-per-liter ratio of the Ecotec engine family to deliver smart, on-demand performance that is also very efficient.

As a celebration they have created an exhaust package for the Porsche Panamera Turbo.The PS9 package for the German sports saloon ups the ante with numerous aero add-ons and a bevy of performance upgrades. The Sport-Abgas system provides your Panamera with a more raw sound and twenty extra horses.
The Essen Motor Show, which runs from November 28 to December 6 and is best described as Europe’s answer to SEMA, will see Porsche tuning shop, SpeedART, revealing its take on the Panamera.
The kit brings the total output to 520bhp. The sprint of the 4.8 liter twin turbo V8 will probably be hit the 4.0 seconds. Top speed will not increase a lot but 303km/h (190mph) isn’t too bad for a four-door sedan.Set to be officially unveiled at the Essen Motor Show, the range topping PS9 features 650 hp and 890 Nm of torque thanks to bigger turbochargers, a sport exhaust system (with a sound switch), a sport catalyst, and a revised ECU. Other design details include 22-inch three-piece 'LSC FORGED' wheels and the aforementioned sport exhaust system (available in polished stainless steel or matt black).Inside, the cockpit will get a SpeedART steering wheel with F1-shift paddles, real carbon-fiber trim and accents, new leather upholstery with colored stitches and a revised instrument panel.At the back, we see a new bumper, and the trapezoidal exhaust pipes.
