Final Destination 5 is an upcoming 2011 3D supernatural horror-thriller film written by Eric Heisserer and directed by Steven Quale. Final Destination 5 is the fifth installment to the Final Destination film franchise, which will star Nicholas D'Agosto, Emma Bell, Miles Fisher, Arlen Escarpeta, David Koechnerand Tony Todd. Todd is the only returning cast member of the series. It is scheduled to be released on August 12, 2011 in Real D 3D.This is the only film in the series not released 3 years after the last one.
