The Twilight Saga is a series of supernatural romance fantasy films from Summit Entertainment based on the four Twilight series novels by the American author Stephenie Meyer. The films star Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson, and Taylor Lautner. The series has grossed over $1.8 billion in worldwide receipts and consists, to date, of three motion pictures. The first installment Twilight was released on November 21, 2008.The second installment, The Twilight Saga: New Moon, followed on November 20, 2009, breaking box office records as the biggest midnight screening and opening day in history, grossing an estimated $72.7 million.The third installment, The Twilight Saga: Eclipse, was released on June 30, 2010,and is the first Twilight film to be released in IMAX.
The series was in development since 2004 at Paramount Pictures, during which time a screen adaptation of Twilight that differed significantly from the novel was written.Three years later, Summit Entertainment acquired the rights to the film. After Twilight grossed $35.7 million on its opening day,Summit Entertainment announced they would begin production on New Moon; they had acquired the rights to the remaining novels earlier that same month.A two-part adaptation of Breaking Dawn began shooting in November 2010 with November 18, 2011, and November 16, 2012, release dates.

Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows is an upcoming 2011 action mystery film directed by Guy Ritchie and produced by Joel Silver, Lionel Wigram, Susan Downey and Dan Lin. It is a sequel to the 2009 film Sherlock Holmes based on the character of the same name created by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. The screenplay is by Kieran Mulroney and Michele Mulroney. Robert Downey, Jr. and Jude Law reprise their roles as Sherlock Holmes and Dr. John Watson, respectively, as the duo join forces to outwit and bring down their most cunning adversary, Professor Moriarty.

Paranormal Activity 3
Paranormal Activity 3 is an upcoming 2011 American supernatural horror film and third film of the Paranormal Activity series, which will be set 18 years before the events of both Paranormal Activity and Paranormal Activity 2. It will be released in theaters on October 21, 2011.
According to the trailer, it shows that the film may be a prequel set in 1988, focusing on Katie and Kristi when they were younger and stalked by the demon, which was heavily mentioned in the first and second film. Although shown to be a prequel in the trailer, it is unconfirmed if it will be a parallel sequel like the previous film as well.

Rise of the Planet of the Apes is an upcoming 2011 American science fiction film. The film is directed byRupert Wyatt. It is a reboot of the Planet of the Apes series that will act as a foundation with an origin story for a new film series. Final Destination 5 is an upcoming 2011 3D supernatural horror-thriller film written by Eric Heisserer and directed by Steven Quale. Final Destination 5 is the fifth installment to the Final Destination film franchise, which will star Nicholas D'Agosto, Emma Bell, Miles Fisher, Arlen Escarpeta, David Koechnerand Tony Todd. The Amazing Spider-Man is an upcoming American superhero film currently in post production. It is the fourth Columbia Pictures film based on theMarvel Comics character Spider-Man and the first film in a rebooted Spider-Man film franchise. Originally, Spider-Man 4 was planned for release in 2011,however in 2010 the film was cancelled due to Sam Raimi's withdrawal from the project, as he felt he could not meet the planned release date without sacrificing artistic integrity. Sony announced that the franchise will in turn be rebooted with new director Marc Webb and a new cast that includes Andrew Garfield as Peter Parker, Emma Stone as Gwen Stacy and Rhys Ifans as Dr. Curt Connors. The reboot's intention is to have Peter Parker back to developing his abilities in high school. It is scheduled to be released in 3D on July 3, 2012.
