2011 Audi A8 Hybrid an Expensive Model as The Flagship Brand
Based on the Audi A8 in 2011 (photo), who himself was only broken covers several months ago, the A8 is expected to be a hybrid Hybrid two-mode itself fully capable of moving under engine power, electricity or a combination. While Audi plans to cut the "mild" hybrids that can not move under electrical power, the A8 is not expected to be hybrid electric vehicles-extened range, one that uses a gasoline engine only as a generator. A8 The Hybrid engine will most likely still be connected to the wheel.
Audi engine that will be used to power the hybrid is as yet unknown. In Europe, the car carrying the two-V 6 and V-8 diesel engine and two V-6 and V-8 gasoline engine. To date, nearly all hybrids have been using the gasoline engine, but Audi could decide to break that trend. Given that the US-market A8 comes with a gasoline V-8 only, it is the most likely choice of engine for this application.
Little else is known about the A8 Hybrid, but we hope it will be offered both in Europe and the United States and possibly other markets. It is also expected to bring a premium price above the base A8, itself an expensive model as the flagship brand, which may limit the appeal
