Imagine, if you want, put million-dollar Lamborghini Reventon into a blender with a brand-new Murcielago LP 640-4, and pressed the button marked "mix." Although we will not do such cruel acts on the willingness of our own, we have no doubt that the results would look like a Lamborghini Murcielago LP 670-4 SuperVeloce 2010.

But the latest iteration of the Murcielago is more than just the cosmetic refresh. Although the term Superveloce Italian translates to "high speed," when applied to the legendary Miura and Diablo, he came to represent a hardcore supercar with high levels of performance. From what we see on the new LP 670-4 SV, that tradition continues.
The first re-engineer Murcielago's aluminum-block 6.5-liter V-12 engine. At first sight, this is a little different from those in the LP 640 and the Reventon, but thanks to new intake manifold, exhaust system, engine computer, and optimized valvetrain, engine now pumps out 670 hp substantial - more than a 10 hp and 30 hp more Reventon of the Murciélago LP 640. Unlike Diablo SV, Diablo VT system that avoided all-wheel-drive which supports setting rear-wheel-drive, the Murcielago LP 670-4 SV continue to send power to all four wheels through a six-speed automatic transmission or six-speed manual.

With increased power, the team at Sant'Agata Bolognese see weight loss. Although the base Murciélago has used large amounts of carbon fiber throughout the car, 3670 lb curb weight is not the definition of svelte. Thus, the Lamborghini working on cutting some heavy components. New exhaust system that may help increase strength, but also 22 pounds lighter than before. Switch to high-strength steel tube frame chassis sheds 44 pounds, while increasing torsional stiffness by 12 percent.
Although still well appointed, cabin Murcielago is not lost on a strict diet. Sports seats needed for a sports car, but those at LP 670-4 SV is made of carbon fiber. They also trimmed in Alcantara, Lamborghini claims a much lighter material than leather hide. Do not look for any audio or navigation systems, either - unless specifically requested by customers, they are cleaned in the pursuit of lighter cars.

Designers also have some form of government is free to revise the Murcielago's. A new chin spoiler, side skirts and intakes, rear diffuser and spoiler may look as though they just design the tie-ins to the Reventon ultra-rare, but they're so much more. Each part plays a major role in increasing downforce, something that many of the Lamborghini is very less. A fixed rear spoiler plays a major role in maintaining the rear planted terra firm, but a larger unit (photo) is also available. Although SV LP 670-4 is available in seven different colors, Lamborghini seems determined to painting a new body kit in black for contrast.
The end result is a (lighter 3450 pounds), an evil Murcielago is ready either for street or track. Lamborghini Murcielago SV-spec claims could reach 0-62 mph in 3.2 seconds and a top speed of 212.5 mph. That must be quick, and we hope to run the entire production (limited to 350 examples) to sell out quickly. Price Range $354.000-$450.000.
